BQL- Blackrock Query Language, Yes that’s right this is the language used by compliance professional to code guideline rules in Aladdin.
In Aladdin Compliance Rules are coded using Blackrock Query Language (BQL). BQL is Blackrock’s internal query language.
BQL language targets specific transactions or security attributes and apply logical operators and determine particular statement is true or false.
Combining the knowledge of Aladdin Data model and BQL Statement allows you to code position or transaction rule.
Every BQL Statement consists of 4 district elements:
Data Type Indicator
Token
Logical Operator
Argument
